BLOCKTECH -- Something everyone needs in their wardrobe.

When it comes to dressing, I always purchase for cost per wear - and when it comes to it's durability, quality and wearability.. it's everything that I look for in a piece of clothing - especially for cooler seasons.

My naive once 14 year old self had many of thoughts that clothes were made to just look good, feel good and occasionally keep you warm. Never would I have thought back then - that tech & design would combine -- where aesthetic & technicality attain just as much importance as one another. And, for a very affordable price. I'm all about buying smart, and dressing smarter. Investing in pieces you can keep for more than just a season. Hello longevitiy.

waterproof, windproof, durable water-repellent - hello, goodbye. Right down to it's seams.

If you're someone who likes to layer up, dress light and still keep warm & look cute... this is how you do it.

Hosted by Yours Truly.

A night with Kate Spade x Yan Yan Chan.

Before you know it, I'm hosting another event. This time, a little different than the previous house party.. more of a feminine soiree of sorts (and a very colourful one) - where lots of questions were asked, advice was swapped.. on all things life, career and creative based, AND.. with a few of you special people, which made the night even more meaningful. We talked a lot about travel, where I got my inspiration from - and ways to fuel creative blocks. Something the latest collection and I share. Inspired by the culture and colours of Morocco (a place I am visiting.. oh so soon!), saw structured silhouettes, pops of bright hues, textured prints and an endless choice of pom pom embellished clutches and bags. Pieces that are strong as statement one off's, but also surprisingly easier than thought, to style as an everyday wear.

INTRODUCING; the essenza mini machine.

Dress code: Sneaker luxe

Location: Secret converted warehouse

food by butter.

I've never hosted anything in my life apart from my 21st birthday and a few backyard lunches here and there (and by lunches I mean nothing formal). So when Nespresso reached out to Nathan and I to host a house party - we dived head straight into it.

It was a first for Nespresso, with the launch of their smallest ever mini machine that was one; catered to the millennial, and two; the size of an actual sneaker shoe box. So of course, in true millennial style - a converted warehouse party was on the books for this. Not your typical, stand around media launch. We wanted homely, we wanted dim lights, a wall of where we get our inspiration from, our favourite plants, crazy delicious food, and all of our friends to feel comfortable. No small talk and no awkward standing (my worst nightmare), nothing too serious - just fun and true enjoyment of drinks and food. Food was catered by the guys at Butter, who infused fried chicken, burgers -- and just the right amount! Think Nespresso martini slushie's, old school hip hop, everyone's best sneakers, champagne tower, and an unlimited selection of coffee tasters, donuts and music.
