Was stoked and lucky enough to have our friend Zach, drive us up to Storm King mountain for the day - walked amongst layers of Fall leaves and got lost within mildly dense forest and wheat. The art space was definitely something I had not predicted so for anyone who's thinking of skipping out the city life and polluted air, make sure to bring walking shoes, some warm layers & possibly a little picnic basket.. actually cut out the picnic basket, it's situated on a vast piece of land with a huge abundance of forestry, so lugging around the basket may not be the best idea. But yes, bring food. Prepared to get lost & make sure to head in before noon as the sun sets down relatively early - as said, you don't rush art and there is a ton of sculpture to get through! If you love and appreciate sculpture art - it's worth the trip. Make sure you have a car!
