In celebration of Burberry’s latest store opening in Melbourne, here’s a look at the photo journal I created, inspired by Danny Sangra — and his collaboration with Burberry for their AW18 show.

Burberry AW18, The Old Sessions House, London.

I had the absolute pleasure & dream of coming back to London this time round, for another work trip, with none other than Burberry!  The coolest, and most honourable way to start off my first ever LFW.

One thing I learnt from Christopher Bailey this season, is that the plaid is back, and on everything and anything. Socks, bags, wool, trench and all the in betweens, the more clash you have, the more it works. The perfect comeback, in the coolest of ways. A tribute to the British culture, nothing more, nothing less. The era of punk, youth & rebellion, the Royals, the blimey it’s bleak! weather that is oh so London, and oh so PLAID.

In a week filled with dozens of shows per day, showing for only 3-5 minutes at a time, it's sometimes easy to forget about the ideas and story behind a collection, and nothing points that out more than a curation of photographs dedicated to everything that is the Burberry heritage, by the one and only Christopher Bailey, "HERE WE ARE".

It was a show, an exhibition, a see now buy now, an experience.. and a celebration of a very British way of life, and way of dressing.
