Aside from being my favourite retail destination for travel basics, and layering pieces, Uniqlo’s array of collaborations that have launched over the last few years, have all been relatively impressive, pieces selling out as quick as the racks get filled. From prominent artists and designers from across the globe, some, already a personal favourite; name, Christophe Lemaire, JW.Anderson & J.Crew. They never fail to curate a line, with pieces that are wearable and easily functional that slip right in with the rest of your wardrobe.
This month’s newbie; Uniqlo x Tomas Maire, is just in time for that really good part of Sydney Winter. A little chilly on the skin, but not enough to eliminate that sweet warmth of sun rays, that slip right in on the back of the neck. Think light denim pieces, structured and oversized, that saturate in Saffron red and airy white’s, with additional swim pieces paired with towelling hoodie’s. Perfect for those that brave a Winter dip in the sea. This is my take on a sunny Winter's Sunday.
